Not far off fucking it off, the club is being given away, come away barely arsed about the score, sooner be watching the club under Joe Royle compare our following at Blackburn to that sham tonight, I want my club back home and away, not the fucking idiots infiltrating our stands with zero tespect
Whose lacking respect? You or them? New fans copy traditions but there are that many, there's nothing to copy. That's how it is in my block. Brugge at home I thought would be brilliant. It was awful. It was the same tonight. But that's not because these new City fans are new. Not because they are idiots. In my opinion. I accept that the crowd that comes on nights like this is very different. You have to sing the songs and then they learn them. When I first started following City, I never sung until I was old enough to go on my own and would go to the Kippax stand.

Yes I agree. Hopefully the Board understand everything flows from on the pitch unless you have marketing and media behind you like the rags.
There's nothing wrong with tourist City fans coming but there's a fuck of a lot wrong with away tourists, away fan's coming and sitting in stands supposedly for our fans

Which again boils down to the all important thing, the board ain’t arsed where it comes from as long as it does - imagine Swales being in this era, he’d have a new hairpiece for every day of the week, drive the biggest Rolls Royce not to mention his shiny new timberland slip ons to drive it

That is happening. Saw it tonight. But that will happen when home fans don't buy up the tickets. Real Madrid always do this. And Barcelona. They don't take up the away allocation but they find their way into the home ends.

Even at 2-1 it wasn't electric.
It was rubbish atmosphere and it has been all season. I reckon a lot of the regulars in the South STand have stopped going. Most of the noise comes from there, and if they don't sing, no one else joins in.

I'm glad somebody who WENT has posted positively. I WENT as well and thought the crowd did there bit. As soon as it started to go quiet, someone somewhere got it going again.
It was a good atmosphere and the crowd weren't to blame for what happened.
I posted something similar earlier. There is a weird disconnect between fans in different areas sometimes in terms of how they perceive the atmosphere. There were songs going around the stadium much more than most premier league games. It wasn’t fully intense but it was pretty good overall.

They were the days
The back to back promotions were brilliant, I wish we could have the n

Sat filming the whole game, holding the camera in the air, showing no interest in City in the City end it's embarrassing and disrespectful, it needs calling out, if you are happy with what we have become fair enough, I think it's wank local fans are priced out and alienated and only wanted when we play Salford and Plymouth

Did it kick off?
It did in 306 at the final whistle, a couple of Madrid fan idiots had celebrated their second goal, been told to get out by a pretty weak steward (who said he was off to get a ‘team’ to help him chuck them out but never reappeared); after not learning their lesson one of them was duly filled in by some Begbie type Scottish fan after the third at the final whistle (the steward had warned them they were going to be killed).

Don’t imagine many of our dwindling hardcore maniac fanbase spend their time on internet forums but if they do it’s important you keep filling in obnoxious away fans (not the tourists who quietly sit on their hands like the two next to me tonight, who I delighted in jumping all over when we scored knowing they’d have to join in) whenever you get the chance.

These incidents get reported back to the club and the more incidents we have the more likely the club are to do something about it, even if it’s simply giving better guidance to clueless away fans to STFU.

That being said I always think to myself ‘if I went to an Old Firm or derby in somewhere mad like Turkey, Greece or Brazil would I really need it explaining that I could be killed if I stepped out of line’?

It was so weird to watch the crowd in the background after Erls penalty. You would expect limbs, but the whole stand could barely be bothered to clap. Watch it for yourselves. It was bizarre. It’s as if they knew the lead wouldn’t last long or maybe it’s they really don’t give a fuck anymore, as after all, we’ve won the lot so there’s nothing to get excited about anymore.

You know the club is fucked when a football fan, don't know who he supports, if any team, can get tickets in the home end and sheers his son's hair off before kick off. What the fuck has the club become?

That last line very much hit home for me. Theyll want ‘legacy’ fans for those games wont they.

I wont be going into the champs league scheme next year (maybe we wont be in it anyway), but not only will the club not give a shite, i think theyl be happy.

This was always going to be the price we had to pay for all we have achieved. I wouldnt swap it, of course, but deep down there is sadness

They will be happy if we stop going. They get to sell our seats for £300 to some nobody or fan of the opposition without a care in the world about this club’s proper fans.

They’d all be sat in the boardroom congratulating each other if they got rid of every single one of us for a tourist. That’s their aim.

Yep get it totally. It hit home big time last night as its the worse its been

Said it before, i know people who are near the top at city. None are city fans, none from manchester even. Extremely good at their jobs, but their primary concern is the business side of manchester city, they arent fans, so they dont think like fans. They are business men.

I’m sorry to say it lads but it might be time to stop going. I gave up years ago and don’t miss it at all. Now the odd game that I do go to I feel out of place and generally bored…sad to say but the club has moved on and doesn’t want/need us anymore

Like Disneyland last night
See through plastic bags over spilling everywhere, half and half scarfs draped all over.
We had 3 lads next to us who just sat there and filmed, didn’t even celebrate our goals, clap, anything
Then got stuck behind a load of cunts getting photos off the stewards on the way out

Totally agree.
Genuine fans missing out.
I described it like going to famous tourist attraction.
Honestly don't think I heard a Manc accent coming out at the end.

We'll see if these 'tourists' are here when it aint the dippers or an attractive club.

Dare I say it if we miss out on top 4 lets see who rocks up for Viktoria Plzeň?????
