Yes they were there really early as they don't get there that often. As usually happens on these occasions the crowd are goosed by the time the game starts.
It happens a lot to us in finals as a lot of people make a weekend of it and over indulge.

Yeah, Istanbul was terrible for this.

Just funny that Talk Sport were giving city fans shit for not being there at midday.

Surprised to hear people online thinking Forest were good. Thought they did nothing. Maybe it'll sound different when I watch it at home.

Normal for the media to use any stick they can to beat us with. Forest will have had loads of fans there who either never go or haven't been for years. That looks great in TV but often dilutes the atmosphere.

I had to listen to it on talksport as was driving through the whole game. My god they spent the whole match whining about city fans and telling the listeners how great Forrest fans were. They were gutted City won.

Lads in the car laughed out loud at a pundit saying there was no city fans to be seen at 5 to 12. Yeah. No shit. Five hours before kick off.

It won't; I was one of the undesirables who missed it today, but I can confirm that City were louder on TV than Forest.

The lack of water for 7 hours didn't really help matters after a full day on the beer.

The Palace support was the best support I’ve heard for a semi-final match at Wembley.

Non stop support and singing for the whole match.

Aided by an Ultra section at the front of L1, and a drum, which wasn’t banged continuously for 90 minutes, but was used in rhythm with the chants, and wasn’t used at all during some chants. Credit to the drummer. He got it spot on.

If City get to the final our support will struggle to match ot better Palace’s support, if it’s anything like it was yesterday.

I wasn't there yesterday (to be honest I don't go games anymore) but our support was apparently pathetic. High demand tickets but full of johnny come lately wankers.

I've been to a few games at the new Wembley with villa and the best atmosphere I ever heard was v Chelsea in a semi final about 15 years ago. We barely sold our allocation out (think it was general sale) but it was brilliant, full of groups on the piss and we lost 3-0.

It seems city's support was noisier than forests today proving often less is more, it's all about the right type of fan.

Palace seem a bit unique in sense if everything is organised in a very European way and they do appear to make a racket.
 
Yes was one of the better atmospheres at Wembley in a while.

Think it was partly down to more of them being there which led to a backs to the wall fightback from us.

Fair dues to the Forest fans who seemed decent and took it well.

Especially the one who followed me from the boozer with my jacket that I'd left behind. Cheers pal!

Great day all round and roll on Palace.
