All you could hear on TV for 99% of the match was Palace fans. Fair play to them. Our fans seemed dreadfully quiet
That was all you could hear in the ground as well. Support was as bad as the team today.

Not sure about the Palace ultras bit but they were able to get the whole support joining in at times, even if it was only 'Eagles' and they kept the noise going throughout, so fair play to them.

It’s unfortunately the way City are now. Too many tourist / plastic fans ( I have to include myself in that) and not enough old school true die hard fans.

Too many there to be ‘entertained’ and not there to be 100% behind the team

It’s shocking what’s happened with the support but the lack of atmosphere does affect the players and is a huge disadvantage in games

I watched the game in a pub in Kefalonia and a family all wearing City gear got up and left for their dinner with 15 minutes to go. WTF!!!!

Too sunny to see the match apparently.

People might laugh at this but it's actually true. I was behind the goal and you really struggled to see what was happening, so much so I watched a lot of the first half at least on the screen behind me. It was also extremely hot and I found myself having to go onto the concourse to escape the heat and cool off before returning. We'd all have had a better view watching it at home or in a bar.

Thanks for your armchair summary mate. I'm sure your support in your living room had a much bigger impact than the thousands of Blues who made the effort and spent a fortune to go down there.

I was there when City lost 3-2 against Liverpool in semifinal a few years ago and spent a fortune travelling down from Glasgow. It was the same that day. Absolutely nothing from the support.

It’s pointless having a dig at someone on line for merely highlighting a huge problem that Pep himself has mentioned

We’ve had too many trips down there and the novelty has worn off ….. the first few years especially v Utd then Stoke were top draw and we were on form ! Now though it’s worn off for most and many have jacked those trips in (for all the reasons everyone is very aware of) replaced by families and tourists

We were singing all the way back to the tube and getting some strange looks. Maybe it's me however some of our support has given up, possibly trying to eclipse the team.

Like the football on the pitch it’s become stale in the stands. The boring safe football doesn’t exactly help.

Don’t know how to get the fire back on or off the pitch. It’s a worry

Hilarious the armchair fans calling out blues for today.

You will forgive me for not fucking singing my heart out whilst im watching Dias to Akanji and then back again and then back again, then to Bernardo, then back to Ortega, oh wait Nico has made a run forward, oh no its back to Bernardo and back to Akanji again, and then a clipped pass over the top of Savinhos head and through to Guehi.
