We have had lots of bickering on here about early leavers, empty seats, no atmosphere etc etc however, on the back of how today is playing out, now is the time for us to really show who we are. We are Man City, good times and bad times. Let's show MP how thankful we are for the way he has had us playing, the goals we've scored, the Double in his first season. Alright, he hasn't always been everyone's cup of tea, he's frustrated me with some of his team selections but you know what, he's our manager, he's dignified, he's backed our Club to the hilt and now is the time for us to be loud and proud for MP, for the players, for each other and more than anything for the Club. Let's push this team on to try and win everything we can. We are the 12th man so let's give it out, loud and proud.

I've been fist pumping and shouting get the fuck in there since it broke about pep. I'd hazard a guess that everyone on here is doing exactly the same. Every home game from now to the end of the season should be absolutely bouncing. This news could be the shot in the arm the team and the fans needed. Roll on tomorrow and can't wait for Saturday. I feel like a kid on Xmas day again.

Might have been bickering on here recently but this place doesn't represent the general opinion of the match going fans. This will give us a little boost in terms of atmosphere though.

All the questions about the future and doubts wasn't good for any parties involved. A manager in 4 competitions with nothing to lose now his future has been decided could be dangerous for the rest of the league. Let's hope they give Pellegrini the send off he deserves with a few pots to parade round Manchester in May.

Fantastic post.

These next few years my god...

Too right!

Just watching the Sergio title win and we will have lots more fantastic days like this. But first we've got to finish with a double for Pellers!

It will take the pressure of f him. I hope that add excited as the fans are the team will be too, minus a few who must fear pep will not need them... Am wondering if they will play as hard

Great post. I think the timing of these announcements is impeccable.
Our club is run by some very, very clever people.
The pressure is now off Manuel and with a huge groundswell of 'feelgood factor' around the club, the next 4 months are going to be special.

Thanks Manuel , you are a classy , classy fella and we have been lucky to know you.
Now, let's storm home, win a pot or two and relish the thought of what's to come long term.
Tick fucking tock!

I was just about to start an atmosphere thread.

We've been pretty boring to watch this season in the league (in the cups we've been exciting!), bar the odd game here and there, especially away from home, and i think it's fed into our atmosphere in the stands. We've been very quiet at the Etihad and we've really dipped away from home as well, the Poznan years we were brilliant away from home (the number of corporates really doesn't help, away allocations are flooded with them now!).

But there are exciting times ahead and we know now for sure that Guardiola is coming and that it's a last hit-out for Pellegrini so now i think there's no excuse not to raise the bar at home. Unusually we've got all the best sides in the league bar Chelsea and Liverpool at home so i'm looking forward to the remainder of the season at the Etihad and hope that with many of the away games not being the "big hitters" that there'll be fewer corporates flooding the terraces and that our usual away followings get behind the boys in our away games too.

Let's be loud for the boys!

"Sheik Mansour went to Spain" for 90 minutes on Saturday. Let's get it rocking for arguably our biggest league game of the season so far and give the boys a boost
