Received this via City Voice for those interested:

First of all, a huge thanks to all of you for being part of our Atmosphere Supergroup for 2017/18. Across the season you’ve been sending us your SMS scores after matches, and completing game-by-game surveys about what you thought caused the atmosphere to be good or bad.

As we’ve mentioned previously, all of your responses give us actual data with which to measure the atmosphere in the stadium, and how it’s affected by different things such as kick off time, weather, scoreline, opposition etc.

Here are some headline results from the 2017/18 season:

    • You told us that the best atmosphere was at our recent 5-0 win over Swansea – our first match as Champions! Other great atmospheres were against Liverpool, Spurs, Stoke and United
    • At the other end of the scale, you thought the worst atmosphere this season was at our home loss vs. Basel
    • According to our decibel meters in the stadium, the loudest moment of the season was Gabriel Jesus’ early opener vs Liverpool in the Champions League QF
Now we’d like to start thinking about next season!

    1. So, what do you think makes for a great atmosphere at the Etihad Stadium?
    2. What could the Club do to help the fans make as much noise as possible next season?
    3. Have you seen any other clubs around the world doing anything interesting around atmosphere?

Its simple City, move the away fans. Put the singing up in SS3 and when/if you redevelop the north stand then have a large dedicated section for the more vocal, as Dortmunds Yellow wall or Spuds home end stand at the New WHL. Also - sort out the draconion jobs worths that are Showsec

Not sure if anyone’s thought of this, or what the response would be, but I think a drum would be really good.
