Stop complaining about Turkish fans in the home end. I've just spent 90 minutes next to a Welsh bloke I didn't understand a word he said. Hopefully I nodded and laughed in the right places.
The club need to sort it out.
A Gala fan from Bala?

Not saying that, and I've huge respect to those who went. Just that adults were £30 and kids £12.50 available tonight. That's £55 for a parent and 2 kids, £18 each. Do you think if they were a tenner each we'd fill the ground tonight? And that's a credible ask for a champions league game? I'm not so sure.
I think a huge culmination of factors have diluted interest....but the ones showing up for games like tonight need to be rewarded when the tickets are hot for finals, and glamour ties. But that won't happen.
If I were in charge. I’d have done it at £15 for adults and £5 for kids. Open it up to anyone with purchasing history on general sale, use some fucking common sense on weeding out who’s not a Galatasary fan, not charge for a fucking membership, and not sell any to 3rd party sites that are obviously then selling to Galatasary fans.

So if we can’t sell out, then get as many away fans as possible in the home end?

If we can’t sell out, surely the best way to get people into the ground is make tickets cheaper

Also we have to look at the reasons many don’t go, because there sick of sitting next to away fans at Champs lge matches. It’s a self-perpetuating cycle now.

City fans stop going as they no longer enjoy the experience (sitting next to away fans) -club sells more tickets to away fans- more city fans stop going as they don’t enjoy the experience (sitting next to away fans).

It's clear that City fans are weary after 2 years of the 115 case. 2 years of negativity in the press. 2 years of defending the club through thick and thin against nobheads at work. We need a shot in the arm from somewhere. But the club seems more concerned with rinsing us. That's what hurts the most I think. Hopefully the news comes out soon and the club starts building some bridges. Credit to pep for sticking around through this time. He deserves a lot of respect for that alone.

Lad and his son were City fans from Kolne next to me tonight. Joined in with all the chants, the young lad shouted at the ref a few times and made a few laugh.

Didn’t notice any Galatasaray fans anywhere around me. Loads of half’n’jalf scarfers, but if they were Gala fans they were well behaved and didn’t make it known.

Only a few torches on the phones, most around me were kids in City scarves doing it.

Didn’t look that bad on the tele at all, was expecting much worse. Those that are saying it was bad that were there - are we talking the upper tiers being empty?
