I went to Wolves yesterday.

Wolves away is one of the hardest grounds in the PL to get the atmosphere going as the stand is very shallow and runs the full length of the pitch, meaning the fans are very spread out. Hence why I’m not going to beat myself up about the overall atmosphere yesterday from us.

We weren’t great in the first half. I’ll leave it at that.

When City scored, especially in the 2nd half, we were much better and much louder. The City section next to the Wolves singing home end was very good in the 2nd half. I was at the other end of the away end.

There will be better away grounds and noisier City away ends to come this season.

Couldn't agree more @jrb, it's always been hard to create much of an atmosphere at Wolves. Thought we gave it a good go, but there's often 3/4 different chants at once from different parts of the away end.

I normally consider the atmosphere at Molineux to be one of the better home atmospheres in the League, but they weren't great. Although I'm not sure I'd have been singing and dancing if I was in their shoes.

Was a nice touch them chanting for Jota during added time.

Last season, we finished strongly in terms of atmosphere. Wolves and Bournemouth fans were gushing on social media about how great we were. That needs to be carried over into this season.

Reijnders should be virtually an ever present (fitness allowing) we need a song for him quickly. It won’t take a lot of imagination with Bluedolph

I think the turnstile issues may have contributed as well, but even before the two goals, it didn’t feel like there was the usual first home game buzz to me. Maybe I just missed it!

There was a few odd spells and obviously the football didn’t help. Hopefully it gets better as the season goes on.

For what it's worth I thought it was good for a 12:30 kick off until they scored. After then the atmosphere fell off a cliff like the performance on the field.

Don't think the Spurs fans offered much either if I'm honest

Was crap as usual.nowt will change, our fans aren't arsed anymore.

Same shhit. South Stand aside (although not THAT brilliant today) hopeless!!! People having chats even stewards having a good ol' natter! The usual tourists chirping away in one language or the other.... but.... I have to say. On the end of a row, Im not exaggerating when I say I probably had to stand up 20/25 times today to let people out! As the FCKIN match was going on, sometimes when we were in their box!!!! (For all the fkin good it did)

There was a time when you would get absolute pelters for getting up mid game. But now.... its like the match is a minor inconvenience as life, work, phone calls, pisses, drinks/food top ups are weirdly the priority! It really boils my pissss as maybe you can tell!

The atmosphere is shocking, the predominant reason being. Pissed, working class lads can't afford to go anymore and the Boomers who can afford it are too fcked to raise their voice. Its embarrassing tbh!

TBH, I don't think we need to worry.

Arsenal are 3-0 up against Leeds at the atmosphere is shite.

The atmosphere is a bit better now, but there are no audible chants.

4-0 to Arsenal now.
