Gooners only got involved when they scored. Library Forever before thatNot sure if you could pick it up on the TV, but our fans were fantastic today at Arsenal.

Thought it was a good away end for a high profile London game that normally attracts the tourists. Not sure if you could pick it up on the TV, but our fans were fantastic today at Arsenal.

Arsenal fans were very nervous and very quiet. I met a lot before and after the game. To be fair they all said they believe Liverpool will walk the league. They seem resigned to it. Their new striker looks very poor. Slow with no awareness off the ball.Thought it was a good away end for a high profile London game that normally attracts the tourists.
City fans were in decent voice and as you say the Arsenal support was shocking.
Couldn't believe how quiet the rest of the stadium was. I thought they'd be well up for it. As bad as anywhere I've been.Fantastic support tonight.
Singing all the way through the match.
It was typical telly stuff, I could hear individual people talking/shouting at the home end of the ground but, our fans although audible almost all game, (I was chanting at the telly over a large range of songs with them) were as far away from the microphones ot they were turned to 0.5 throughout the game at our end.Fantastic support tonight.

It’s one their fans used to sing way back when. Good old Arsenal, we’re proud to sing the name, while we sing this song, we’ll win the game. Or words to that effect. What was the 'rule britannia' song they played pre match?
You could tell last night that the commentary team were in a studio watching the game (probably in the Sky Sports studios in London), not at the stadium. Stadium sound is just on in the background when that happens. It was typical telly stuff, I could hear individual people talking/shouting at the home end of the ground but, our fans although audible almost all game, (I was chanting at the telly over a large range of songs with them) were as far away from the microphones ot they were turned to 0.5 throughout the game at our end.
The commentator even passed comment on the Huddersfield fans giving Phillips grief which I didn't hear, I just heard 'in the distance ' our mob singing that he'd won more than you to them.
I had to listen to it on the radio last night and all you could hear for the whole game was City. Literally from kick off all you could hear was City fans going through every song we have and it sounded amazing and loud. Compare that to TV where it’s just a muffled feint hum in the background shows how they manipulate the sound. You could tell last night that the commentary team were in a studio watching the game (probably in the Sky Sports studios in London), not at the stadium. Happens a lot with English comms for foreign sport, but noticing it’s happening more with domestic games like early rounds of the EFL Cup now n’all.
