Diving in again quickly.
As has been posted before.
The new 4000 FG season tickets are 'stadium wide', not solely for NSL2. So how many of those new 4000 FG season tickets are going to be allocated to NSL2 by the club? Does it depend on the amount of current season ticket holders wanting to relocate from other parts of the ground? The club will then have to fill those empty seats in other parts of the ground after fans have relocated to NSL2.
From the OS.
And following further consultation with City Matters, we are pleased to confirm that we will release more than 4000 new Flexi Season Tickets stadium-wide ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Regarding the 3000 safe standing seats, and possible expansion to 4000 safe standing seats.
The wording states CAN(increase), not WILL, depending on demand.
As far as we know there won't be 3000 safe standing season tickets on NSL2. That will mean there will be safe standing match day tickets available on NSL2. Which could mean the demand for more than 3000 safe standing tickets on a regular match day basis will never be there, i.e. against the lesser teams and lesser games. If that is that case, which I'm not saying it will be, why are the club going to expand the safe standing section on NSL2 to 4000 safe standing seats, thus eating into an extra 1000 more profitable seats in the lower centre sections of NSL2?
If the club had made 3000 FG safe standing tickets available to the fans, and they had, sold out, the club could have then put another 1000 FG safe standing season tickets on sale. I think 4000 FG safe standing season tickets would have sold out.
From the OS .
As we shared last season, the expanded North Stand will include a minimum of 3,000 rail seats, but this can increase depending on demand.
How can the club guage the demand by a match to match basis with a mixture of season tickets and match day tickets? The only way is by the 3000 safe standing seats selling out for every home match. Once that happens the club will then have to create an additional 1000 safe standing seats, which will already be filled with season ticket holders who have relocated to the centre sections of NSL2. (5000 GA+ and GA seats)
