Fans involved in every kick of the game, responding to what’s going on on the pitch, booing and whistling the opposition’s possession, giving shit to opposition players for mistakes and missed shots, going wild for tackles/free kicks/throw-ins/corners won, celebatating goals properly, chanting more loudly after goals, giving the opposition fans shit, taking the piss, showing our appreciation to players and the manager…
When English atmospheres are good, they’re the best kind of atmospheres in the world.
Still let down a bit by the early leavers for half time, late comers to the second half and early leavers at the end when we’re playing brilliantly against the champions on the way to a 3-0 win. But as I said a few pages back, that’s a hangover from the culture of our fanbase from when we were shit and games didn’t mean as much, maybe it will take a few decades to rid ourselves of that old culture.
Other than that, class day in the stands!
