Atmosphere Thread | 2025/26

Big congrats to the city matchday team who yet again allowed in a giant, ear perforatting drum into the away end, that alone drowns out any and all noise from the surrounding home stands.

There isn't even any point in singing from thr south stand when one of those get let into the away end, I can't even hear the person next to me nevermind somebody trying to sing a few rows behind.

I don't mind the drum at Buxton.
That's a load of young lads who can't afford Premier league prices.
And old lads like me.
Been everywhere watching the team.

While been paid in a week what most fans will not earn in 5 years .
I read about few years ago Kevin was on 300k a week
Absolutely amazing player.
In a good year with loads of overtime I might earn 70k.
In a year.
Think that's a lot.

He earns more a week than I do In5 years

No, the Leverkusen fans sorted out 50,000 City fans on their own inside the ground.

No wonder I came out of the CL cup scheme.

I went tonight as a mate had a spare.

I’m really not missing anything.

It’s quite laughable that 1000 Leverkusen fans in SSL1 can out sing the Etihad pretty much full of City fans for 90 minutes.

I thought the Leverkusen fans were great tonight.

Clever use of the drum, different drumming to different chants, pauses in-between the chants, so the chants weren’t monotonous, and a good variety of fast, slow, and shouting chants. The Capo definitely needs a new megaphone. The megaphone he had kept on failing.

Are you doing a BlueHammer85 in the Bellingham thread kind of post there?

Their chants were inaudible for the most part because all you could hear was some wanker absolutely twatting fuck out of a drum.

The only time they sounded good was on 39 minutes when they sang one song without the drum.

Absolutely agree. We go away to Spain etc and we are up in the gods so we can barely be heard, but we let away fans and their orchestrated shite come in with a megaphone and bang their drums, where I can't get anything bigger than A4 size in the ground.

Worse of all, it doesn't even follow what's on the pitch, just some **** on a stepladder with his back to the game organising wankers with his mate twatting a drum constantly like German water torture.

Almost as bad, there is a small pocket of fans in here who worship this Tifo shite and would love a drum in the ground. The day that happens at one of our PL home games will be the last game I ever attend.

Oh and Pep, that was on you tonight, fucking gash.

The chants weren’t inaudible where I was sat.

Get your ears checked out in the morning.

Or get some ear drops.

I take it you never wanted a drum kit.

Contrast that to a few stadium chants of come on City, and 2 Half hearted chants of we’ve got Pep.

I’d rather have a drum and 90 minutes of solid support and singing compared to our embarrassing support tonight.
 
1894 must be on the verge of saying what’s the fcukin point. Embarrassing support throughout the entire match and that sound system cut before KO was the worst bit of it.
What those Germans must have thought of that!
 
It makes me laugh that City fans and English football fans get so upset and annoyed about European Ultras support, which includes a megaphone and a drum, whilst they sit or stand on or next to their seats in silence for 90 minutes. Fucking hilarious!

I think I’m done for CL games next season… north stand was like a crèche of screaming kids shouting at haaland warming up, absolutely zero atmosphere and I’d probably say 70% on our block are day trippers now

It’s too expensive and I get zero enjoyment from the league format games

Unfortunately, this is the beginning of the end for me
