Atmosphere Thread | 2025/26

Have you seen the royalties charge for Beatles tunes..

Licensing a Beatles song, particularly an iconic track like "Hey Jude," is one of the most expensive music licensing endeavors, frequently costing in the high six-figure range for a single use in film or television. The original master recordings are rarely allowed to be used and come at a premium price, as the Beatles' company, Apple Corps, and music publisher Sony/ATV maintain tight control over their catalog.

Spotted myself after the second goal. Some mental limbs in that lower tier yesterday!

Was definitely one of our better Wembley atmospheres that. You could tell everyone was bang up for the match beforehand and it transferred well into the stands
Should seen it in our house. Me and a mate and my dog went mental and even my mrs was waving her arms around.
Had a great day watching at home but you lot there looked and sounded mint.

Mental isn't it.
They're all shit really but I have to admit loving the Quo tune at Wembley in 99

Take a bow Blues.

First trophy lift I've not witnessed since 1976, so on behalf of all Blues who weren't welcome yesterday, a huge pat on the back to all of you. Great support, loud and proud, which I readily admit brought a tear or two from this old fart.

Top Berts.

Up the fucking Blues.
Fucking disgraceful state of modern day football that you weren’t allowed there Dodge

Cheers mate, appreciate that.

Tempted to test the "staff only" facial recognition for the dipper game. Got the disguise sorted. Shaggy perm, fake tash, pocket full of coins, "this means more" t-shirt and a red flare down the kecks. Should piss it through the wands.

Go 'Head La, you'll "boss it"...

I worked as a steward Burnley vs Cardiff couple of seasons ago, Cardiff singing "well follow you everywhere " we all copy songs
I have never heard any other fans singing the “we’re not really here” song. I always consider that unique to us but I could be wrong.

Surprised Leicester haven't give it a go, post of their songs come from us

When the media hype mocking our support went to new levels, we responded in style with fantastic atmospheres against Real and Arsenal.

Credit to all the Blues who didn’t hesitate to back the lads and 1894, who’ve taken stick on here in recent months.
Barely a mention though. I rewatched the final and the commentators barely mention our fans or how silent the Arsenal fans were

I don’t agree mate. Bluemoon when done properly and sung by the majority, there’s nothing better.

If you’re talking about an anthem at the end of the game I agree. I always thought don’t look back in anger is the one - couldn’t get anymore Manchester related either

Extremely annoyingly, we don’t sing it like that anymore.

Like in that video there, we used to elongate the notes and sing it slower. Now, we bark it out quick as fuck and it sounds bloody awful for it.
