Wonder if there’ll be a minute’s silence for Alex Manninger
Had a listen to the song, thought it was a really good hymn of love to the singers home town. Arsenal not mentioned at all, he refers to going to the football but could equally well be Tottenham. Much prefer it to YNWA for instance, like some teams songs, Mull of Kyntyre at Forest and Marching All Together at Leeds. Thank f**k the rags don't have a song of their own it would be constantly on the radio.I hope they've been told to fuck right off.
The fucking 'angel' ffs.
Also really like, Sussex by the Sea , BHA, Sunshine on Leith,Hibs, and Penny Arcade, Rangers.Had a listen to the song, thought it was a really good hymn of love to the singers home town. Why the fuck would we do that? That club is completely derangedArsenal have requested if City would play "the Angel" prior to kick off and before our usual pre match intros as per the cup final when both Then Angel and Blue moon where played prior to the players coming out, to enable them to encourage their fans into the stadium for KO and generate a "unique atmosphere" for the premier leagues likely most watched game of the season.. Sky are supportive , city are not .
No quinoa on sale in the kiosks on the away concourse ..... can you imagine the scenesNeed it all sunday. Welcome the bus before kick off. Shut the bars 15 mins before get everyone in their seats. Get the big fuck off banner that covers the whole stand. Make it horrible for arsenal booing and whistling every time they have the ball. Lets kill their title hopes
Just tell them to bring their breakfast and lunchNo quinoa on sale in the kiosks on the away concourse ..... can you imagine the scenes
The rags seem to have adopted Country Road recently.Had a listen to the song, thought it was a really good hymn of love to the singers home town. And the world will be watching… going to be great. The atmosphere will be electric on Sunday. 430 kick off, good weather, title decider
Early goal and it could be an all timer
They've sung it for years, its my mrs (rag) favourite chant. The rags seem to have adopted Country Road recently.
Largest premier league production for a non-trophy lift match in history ;)And the world will be watching… going to be great.
Oh yeah I know they've been singing it for a while, but it's only recently that the club seem to have adopted it as their main anthem. Correct me if I'm wrong though. They've sung it for years, its my mrs (rag) favourite chant.
Heard Swinton singing it at Wigan rugby 30 odd years ago. Nothing original from the rags. They've sung it for years, its my mrs (rag) favourite chant.
A while back, just waiting for Warwick Rd to be renamed CUNTry road...The rags seem to have adopted Country Road recently.
They already changed the lyrics to “Take me home, uni*ed Road” which is really awful, it makes no sense! Should have changed it to “Take me home, M1 road”A while back, just waiting for Warwick Rd to be renamed CUNTry road...
I'd say they should adopt "London Calling", but it's a classic...They already changed the lyrics to “Take me home, uni*ed Road” which is really awful, it makes no sense! Should have changed it to “Take me home, M1 road”
Don't think Warwick Rd exists these days. I think it's Matt Busby way north of Chester Rd and Brian Statham Way south of Chester Rd. Really like John Denver don't like the rags using his song.A while back, just waiting for Warwick Rd to be renamed CUNTry road...
