Why is this thread even in the politics forum?Police aren't currently treating it as a terrorist incident and it was confirmed yesterday that it wasn't connected to any protests or marches.

They're doomed from the start these threads and even more so when they're treated as a political topic from the off.
At this stage it would be more respectful and more responsible for any focus to stay within realms of the official information that's being provided. It wouldn't leave people with very much to say beyond "that's awful" but that's much better than the uncomfirmed narratives we're seeing being pushed now.

At this stage it would be more respectful and more responsible for any focus to stay within realms of the official information that's being provided. Of course it is. Libyan stabs a bunch of people and kills 3 of them. Was bloody obvious at 8pm last night. But hey if you "assume" this you're a fucking racist according to some or have an agenda against Islam.

Isis will have claimed responsibility by some time this afternoon and we'll hear the usual, that they raided his house, found a load of terror related evidence and possibly an accomplice or two.
