Attacks in Paris

I've changed it..... hence the edit.

But do wish leaders and certain groups would show solidarity and have a backbone. Sadly they will hide and play the victim in this.

I thought you'd changed it because you realised the quote came from a blog that has also deleted it due to it coming from an obviously fake account. Oh well.

Syrian passport found on the body of one of the perpetrators.... I wonder how he got here, are the left happy to keep borders open to appease their conscience at the cost of many lives..?

The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant have claimed responsibility for last nights murders.

Ask them if they are true Muslims...Just because you'd be told they aren't by other followers of Islam who have different ideologies of their religion doesn't mean they aren't true Muslims.

Fair enough they do not represent their whole religion but it also doesn't mean they aren't Muslims.

Just the same as if you ask a KKK member if they're Christian, they will say yes, and I'm sure they will have scripture quotes to back up their warped views on life. The problem with religion is it can be bent my deranged people to satisfy their views and inflict pain on people that don't meet up to their world view.

I'm loving the irony of an anti-Muslim sentiment on the same page everybody is super concerned that Billy is ok.
I don't Know Billy, glad he's Ok, I take it from that he's a muslim ? I don't get why people find it so difficult to seperate terrorists from the general people who the terrorists claim to represent

Not sure why you need to see this happen. It's pretty clear to anyone not harbouring anti muslim prejudice that Isis doesn't represent mainstream Islam. Theyre slaughtering Muslims in their thousands.

Do you ask this of other groups? I mean we live in a country where 2 women a week are killed by their partners and over 60000 women are raped each year. Do you need to see 100000 men to take to the streets and reassure us all that not all men are rapists? Or are you able to figure that one out yourself?
Maybe in your fluffy cosy world of bread and sausages and eternal sunshine you may not need to see this but i do and so do many others, as you have said in your first sentence ISIS does not represent mainstream Islam and they are slaughtering Muslims in their thousands, this may be true so why don't mainstream Muslims come out and demonstrate against ISIL in their hundreds of thousands and make it clear once and for all that they despise these people, as i said, hell will freeze over first

They would say they were a Muslim. But they'd be wrong. I could identify myself as a Sith, doesn't mean i'm right. They think they are following the Quran, using verses such as 3:28, 5:51, 5:80 and 3:118 as justification of their jihad, but again, they are wrong. They are picking and choosing the verses which are suitable to their ideology. They are about as Muslim as you or I.

Muhammad didn't have a Quran neither as apparently he couldn't read or write so he was taught it all verbally by an Angel and spread its work from there to kill all Meccan pagans.

That's exactly right and why I think religion is a joke and not only out of date, not even centuries out of date, but MILLENNIA out of date. It's all there [violent extremism] within religions to be interpreted by the puritans of each religion if they such wish.

What does this have to do with Islamism?

You see, this is what we need to be doing, so that it benefits both sides of the arguement, so that when people are demonising the actions of IS, busy see you next tuesday's cannot bleat about 'Islamophobia' because we're debating Islamism, unless people are upset about 'Islamismophobia'.

Naturally on the same issue, those who criticise Islam in an entirely different debate by citing the actions of IS as an example of Islam as a whole, need to have it pointed out that IS are Islamists, not Islamic, despite what they choose to call themselves. The debate about Islam and its influence, importance or relevance on non-Islamic societies is a debate for another day. IS is all our collective focus now, those murdering Islamist bastards.
