Paris (and Lyon and Marseille) have been dangerous cities for some time. The threat of this has been there for Paris for some time too. The ethnic and religious minorities are very regionalised, ghettoised in Paris. There isn't the integration they have like in German and British cities.My daughter was due to go on a school trip to Paris in 3 weeks. Not letting her go now. Staggering that you don't feel safe in such a city.

I wouldn't put her at risk mate. They would love to attack a coach load of British kids. Think the school will cancel now anyway.
