Wont be many at this one. Though if and when we get to the final there will be 50,000 people moaning about not getting a ticket harping on about loyalty, points required, cup schemes etc.etc.etc

spot on

My sentiments too.

How about everyone who goes to Wigan at home being guaranteed a final ticket when we return to Wembley. I know the vast majority going tomorrow will be on the Cupmschemes anyway.

Yes that would be a great idea! I will be one of the 'irresponsible' parents taking school age kids to tomorrow's Wigan match to build up their points in the Cup Scheme to ensure we can get final tickets should we get through. Can well remember last seasons game in this cup getting battered by Villa, getting p** wet through and missing the last train home as it went to extra time. An expensive night out getting taxi ride back. Hope at least we get to see something like yesterday's performance to make it worthwhile.

How about the club give some of the prem new money back to the supporters and charge £5 for these types of games. Thats how you get new local supporters to want to come

I don't know why someone that goes to one less expensive game should be guaranteed a ticket over someone thats been going year in year but for whatever reason can't make it to the Wigan match.

People who turn up for Wigan at home on a Tuesday night are hardly likely to be JCLs as illustrated by Zabbadaba's commitment.

28,015 against Villa at the same stage last season. I'll guess at 24,500 as Wigan will bring a handful and those amongst our lot who are picking and choosing their games will be more bothered about Bayern next week.

My non football interested wife has bought us all tickets to go tomorrow. Taking the 3 kids. It will be a late one for them as we need to travel from the fylde coast, but its my youngest lads first City game and he's so excited.

Yes if you are prepared to fork out a huge sum of fifteen pounds you deserve at least one final ticket. I have just made the 460 mile round trip (80 petrol cost) at weekend to watch us and will be taking time off for all midweek league and Euro games but would never consider I deserve a ticket over the guy who splashes out 15 quid for a Wigan ticket regardless of previous attendance.

Around 27k I reckon given the crowd against Villa last season and allowing for the WIgan "support" compared to Villa

You know sales aren't great when...

Don’t miss your chance to cheer on the boys in the third round of the Capital One Cup.

Take advantage of the fantastic upgrade offer for the visit of the Latics.

To thank fans for their amazing support, supporters who hold concessionary Seasoncards, and who have purchased a ticket for this fixture, can enjoy a free upgrade for tomorrow’s Capital One Cup game against Wigan Athletic, Tuesday 24th September, 7.45pm kick off.

This enables all active concessionary Seasoncards (that is any supporter that does not have adult printed on their card) to be used by an adult for no extra charge.

Might help the Family Stand fill up some!

I wondered how long it would take for the Derby Day win good feeling to wear off!! So you travel ten mes each way further than the cockney rags did on Sunday.

No it has not worn off as yet but a bit tired and irritable after my heroic journey :-). Not sure of the relevance to the cockney rags as I am unfortunately an exiled Mancunian having moved for work reasons and have attended regularly since the 80s.

The current system we have, loyalty points and cup schemes, is the fairest way of distributing tickets and I cannot see how offering Wembley tickets just because a person has attended one particular game as improving the system, particularly if that persons previous attendance at games is not even considered.

I have got my reservations about the cup scheme but can understand the reasons the club has introduced it. But to offer final tickets based upon attending one game would only alienate people.

OK fair points but a lot of peoe who don't go tomorrow will be demanding a Cup Final ticket if we get there. I can understand it if people have a very long way to travel, have too many family responsibilities, or are broke etc.

I hope you saw lots of deflated rags on the way home.

If we do get to the League Cup Final, there'll be no problem with tickets as Cup Finalists get a lot bigger allocation than for the FA Cup Final.......I hope they are a lot cheaper too.

Looking forward to this as one of Utd or Liverpool will go out the following night and we should see Micah and Jovetic?

It will forever annoy me that we dont sell out these games.

20,000 empty seats, are we fucking sure?

The rags had 23,000 empty seats, in this very same competition; that in a quarter final and that with 9,000 Palace fans and fook knows how many tourists. Of that, I am fookin sure.
