Interesting stats on this seasons attendances for the Premiership, we do well as usual.

<a class="postlink" href="http://soccernet.espn.go.com/stats/attendance/_/league/eng.1/english-premier-league?cc=5739" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://soccernet.espn.go.com/stats/atte ... ue?cc=5739</a>

I noticed that Newcastle were singing their empty seats favourite at West Brom today, despite their own attendance being well under capacity still.

Fantastic attendence as always. Very annoying to see how much more revenue the rags and l'arse have generated from increased door sales though. Please Mr Mansour, can we have that extension please? :D

i find those stats to be completely flase

get a table up showing what percentage of total capacity the average attendance is and it'll show a truer reflection on which club has the best/most loyal fans

It's not that simple at all. Clubs who do better see their crowds increase as we have, whilst clubs who go down will see them decrease. Plus you've got clubs like Spuds and Chelsea who at the moment could fill a lot more - like Scum pre-Glazer. Arsenal/Chelsea/Scum and Dippers have had years of CL stuff - what would they get after 3 years in 15th place? Who knows?

So just enjoy the stats - we were third in the late 70s behind Scum and the Dippers, and at the moment I reckon we're pitched just about right.

Demand will increase from now though, so go for it Sheik!

1 Manchester United 600,306 75,038
2 Arsenal 480,299 60,037

4 Newcastle United 363,669 45,458
5 Liverpool 303,288 43,326
6 Chelsea 332,168 41,521
7 Sunderland 309,977 38,747
8 Aston Villa 299,741 37,467
9 Everton 290,852 36,356
10 Tottenham Hotspur 286,312 35,789
