I have said all along in this thread if we beat Milan we will most likely get Bayern as they have the easier tie against Sao Paulo, if we beat Bayern we will have sky high confidence going into the CL and new league campaign.

I honestly believe this tournament can play a huge part confidence wise going into the season.

Put it this way if we get the Bayern game and get tanked, I worry that will play on our minds going into the CL, so for me we must be at our best.

The only problem for us is Bayern will probably play a second team against Sao Paulo and play a full XI against us or Milan, us and Milan will have to juggle the squad massively for both games as they are only a day apart.

Which is why I doubt we'll win the 2nd game (if Bayern), not that it matters much at this stage of the season and considering the circumstances.

Bayern have also played 9 preseason games already and look fit and rampant.

These games are just for fitness and to help the team gel.
 
Yea, I don't think we are going past Bayern Munich. Infact, I hope we don't get spanked as it would not look good. However, we may just be about to witness some Pellegrini Magic. If we can do it against a strong Bayern team, then see you in the quarter finals of Ligue de Chumps. (At least)
 
Bayern are going to absolutely rinse us if we come against them. Haven't they already played like 10 matches?

been playing games since end of June I think.
 
whether it's Milan or City in that final, either will get shellacked. Theyll barely use starters v Sao Paolo

Secondly, their midfield is so stacked theyll all be putting in 110% to impress

makes me wanna lose to City, kind of

I cant handle seeing our bench v Bayern full bore
 
Realistically, I predict that we will beat Milan possibly on penalties then lose 3-0 against Bayern.
In any case, I plan on getting smashed and eating copious amounts of horse meat or whatever's in those currywursts.
Gonna try and get the Germans singing the Yaya/(no)Kolo song too
