Good player but the one from there would be Valverde.
Ive never seen it myself. I don't get the hype. Nice shot taker from outside the box. But everything else isn't special. He's an old school Gareth Barry type of player, not flashy but very gritty and efficient.
RM fans are delusional and have no clue about football, They arr more concerned with vain projects like building a team of big name players just so they can be the envy of other teams. The same clowns who booed Modric in his first two seasons and never appreciated Bale, over the years they have turned on numerous world class players. We all see things differently. Before he landed at Real, every major team in the world had him on their radar, but Tchouameni made it clear there was only Madrid. Camavinga is the more accomplished player at Real, but that's like comparing KDB to Rodri. Who's better vs who's more important to the team. Real are trying to recreate the Harlem Globetrotters. They value big names over players they need, just as they did in their Galacticos era. Tchouameni won't be easy to acquire for anyone. Real being willing to consider a deal is one thing, but an elite young player giving up the Bernabeu for anywhere else in football is another matter altogether.
Also, in terms of Camavinga, this isn't Football Manager. Cama is going nowhere, but there may just be an opportunity to be involved in the race for Tchouameni. Are you suggesting City rule themselves out purely because you feel Camavinga (who's not for sale) is better?
Also, if not Tchouameni as competition & cover for Rodri, then which realistic CDM target do you suggest?

If Pep got his hands on a young or prime Gareth Barry he would turn him into one of the best pivots on the planet and I don't think I exagerrate. One of our pre-Pep players Pep would have absolutely loved. Great positioning, good feet, calm and composed, intelligent enough to slot into both the defence and make runs into the box. Loved Gaz Baz
