Half time and the germans are completely in control, exactly what we should have done against the yanks.

Aussies are mostly premiership misfits except Cahill.

The germans look best team yet for me!!! we need to win our group as dont fancy facing these.

No he should not have - he is on a yellow (for diving) and would have been sure how the ref would have taken it.

Wouldn't have been a dive though, Schwarzer was taking him out if he'd carried on his run.

I hate to say it - as bad as the Ozzies are, the Germans do look good

they do, i put the aussie's in the same bracket as the yanks yet we did'nt look anything like as comfortable as the germans do tonight.

Wow, Australia have regressed into something terrible, they used to be quite decent. From what I've heard they lack many good young players too, hence their ageing squad.

With the phenomenal record they have at world cups it's no wonder the Germans always look confident, just look at the difference in the confidence and demeanor of the German players compared to the England players last night.
The Germans seem to know they will do well but the English just hope, huge difference in the psyche of both sets of players.
