Had Turnbull who tried for years to get a free ride into the Labour Party himself and after being told often enough to do something else he switched camps not issued the spill , Labour would have romped in the election despite their draconian tax platform and backflip after backflip on " Climate Policy" since 2007 and the fact the Labour leader was subject of a police investigation into an alleged rape in 2014 and known to have a short fuse even in the most mundane of situations.
Turnbull lost 14 seats 2016 when he back stabbed Abbott and fell in after only months as Prime Minister.
All he cares about now in his multi million dollar Point Piper mansion is dishing out on those that turfed him out of office.
He even inferred the police should investigate the suicide of a lady that has the AG embroiled in a rape scandal despite having more holes in her in formal statement to police that was withdrawn before she took her own life than the biggest piece of swiss cheese.
Has much of his fortune tied up in companies promoting renewables that get billions of subs each year to the detriment of the tax payer and makes the poor leave their heaters switched off in winter.

Interest rates went up here for the first time in 11 years yesterday. By 0.25%. They are now 0.35%, many more rises forecast. Inflation running at just over 5%. The Reserve bank has dragged it's feet a bit.
This will hopefully end the crazy house price surge. GE on the 21st.
I'm hoping Morrison doesn't win again. This interest rate rise might spoil his chances.

here we have a BoE base rate of 0.75% and +8% inflation - both predicted to rise by the end of the year - we wish we had your woes AND an imminent GE
