Wolf Hall was excellent, daughter bought it and I read them after that.
Yes, definitely one of my favourite books. Her gift was in making you feel that you were actually there, moreso than any other author I've ever read. Her descriptive powers were incredible. She also made Cromwell much more of a real person.
I'll miss her, she was a treasure.

Didnt read the books but loved the drama series and Mark Rylance was exceptionally good.

That’s a huge loss. She did suffer from Ill health for a long time. Great shame. She was a fabulous author. Rip.
Her final book in the wolf hall trilogy has still to be screened. I understand that Mark Rylance will play the lead again.
