That was quoted by the Times at the time. Don’t actually know if that was correct. The list in Transfermkt suggests it was older than 23 but they list all players.

Yeah a quick look at the playing squad in wiki for that year suggests around 27
 
We have we got four goalkeepers In a small squad. Three should be plenty.

Steffen or Carson should go really. Carson is ten years older than Steffen and perhaps should be on the coaching staff by now.

Then again I think Steffen wanted to leave but got injured so nobody would take him. I‘m surprised nobody has bought Steffen before now rather than just loan him.
