Away fans / tourists in home sections

The first leg v Wigan in the paly off semi final was shown on a big screen at Maine Road

My mate went for a shit that day in the kippax, it was all seater by now but still no bog roll

He took his undies off and used them and stuck them behind the cistern
We've all done it ; )

a big screen....looked like a telly to me ;)

Them outside Kippax bogs in the 70's............that fucking smell is still in my brain.

Swimming in piss and shit.

That's where my seat is but I rarely sit there now I go and sit further down in 323 if I can. As u said not enough true city fans In the area I actually got a bollocking off a blue for having a pop at a rag on derby day just gone work that 1 out!!!
Years ago they would have been smacked for celebrating in our end..
It's easy to get banned nowadays for having a pop at away fans in the home end
If I went into the home end at another club and celebrated City scoring I would expect plenty of grief..

He speaks the truth. That's where the agency tickets are, you don't need to have attended 5 games or have a membership to buy (even though that 5 game minimum purchase was supposedly for security reasons).
It will have loads of Liverpool fans, not many of the local gobby scousers but tourist types. The atmosphere is surreal up there during a big game, almost no one remotely energized when City are attacking.
The odd tourist Liverpool fan jumps up when they score, a whole row did when C*unt Alexander scored last year. There are not even enough true City fans in the area to get agitated with them, but the got evicted anyway.
If an away fan just watches the match and shuts up I don't get too wound up about them being in our end. It's the deterioration in our own atmosphere that bothers me, being sat around big numbers of passionless neutrals or undercover opposition fans = very dull and quiet = our top tiers.

me and my family have sat in 323 since the ground opened.

League games its the same crowd that have been going for years

City’s ticket office were very flexible on the day of the game to help genuine Blues.

Yes, thanks. I know it’s not impossible. There is actually a workaround that I stumbled across online.

But it’s also not ‘bullshit’ that the official rule is, it’s not possible, as the other guy insisted.

Takes a while to spot it, but you see someone getting a good twatting once your eyes find it

I should imagine there was a pair of mine there already. -;)

Good to hear. My worst experiences have been up the back of 306, 307 or 308. Seems to be clusters of agency seats up there.
I love the front of the third tier for the pitch view.
Where you are in 323 is close enough to the South Stand noise as well. Such a pity they do that "all comers" policy with the agency seats. Very very flat up there in back of the East Stand for Liverpool last year, and we were chasing the title then. Early kick off didn't help, but I still got the impression most around me were not hugely bothered whether we won or not.
Let's hope we can get some noise going on Sunday....a win in Madrid would really ramp it up as well.

Get down with us scumbags mate ......it's a whole new world. Old cunts or not we balloon about a lot.

I received an email from City asking for my feedback today.

Here’s the link if anyone else wants to fill it in.

They’re asking what fans think of prices etc…. It’s safe to say I told them what I thought.
Filled it in mate. I don’t think my scores would have been that different to yours mate. Hopefully, the survey and other efforts leads to the sort of freezes the bin dippers are seeing.

I just don’t have an objection to value golds as long as the annual fees are reduced and there is a clear progression route to full season cards (or a mix of FG and full season cards from the start).

When I spoke to them they point blank refused to transfer the ticket. I either got a refund or it sat empty.

So it forced me to sell the ticket back to the club rather than lose my money.

I’m hoping that they will listen to the replies :0)

You can go from value gold to a full price season ticket. I did it.
