Champions Travel - advertising as an 'official agent' for Manchester City https://champions-travel.com/football/manchester-city

Celtic Horizon Tours - a similar company to above - https://www.celtichorizontours.com/packages/manchester-city-v-brighton/

There are quite a few others like that, mainly based in Ireland, who in the past were very much just interested in United and Liverpool.

And, I know, I'm based in Ireland. Have been going to City for best part of 40 years - have never (nor would I ever) use any of the companies above. It's simply overcharging, touting, call it what you want. But, City have joined the vast majority of other Premier clubs and are using these companies as 'official agents' to sell off tickets as hospitality packages.

Agree I feel nothing after this game, I'm not emotionally attached to City anymore.
Exactly the reason I stopped going 3 years ago, after having a season ticket for 15 years.

Its not just City, I'm just not that arsed about football in general anymore, too much has changed and its hard to quantify in just one post.

Happy to just watch it at home now and live my life around the 90 minute game, rather than the 5/6 hours going to the game takes out of your day.

Not really mate. I’ve jacked it in long ago and only get tickets off here and Facebook now. If everyone stopped they would have to change.their pricing.

It’s hardly a protest. It’s a banner that is getting barely any traction held up by people who have already paid the ridiculous prices.
The Police came and made fans removed the banner today (instructed by the club?)

Loads will fuck it all off sooner or later mate. It's no longer the City we used to know
South Stand L3 fooked off before the final whistle. Yes virtually the whole stand. In contrast there were a few handfuls of bin dippers in our end but let’s not let the truth get in the way of a good story.

Disappointing performance but we need to stick with the lads.

If true, I'm not doubting you, there you have it. The club did the same with the other protest banner. The club doesn't give a fuck about what the fans think. They will crush any protest inside the ground.

As for GMP, they spent the rest of the match stood on the concourse at the back of 115, laughing, joking, and doing fuck all during the match. Easy money.

The best bit. I saw one male police officer chatting up an attractive female police officer on the concourse. TBF, she was was very attractive. He had no chance. Waisting his time.

I spoke to some lads from Dublin earlier this season who’ve had 2 season tickets at City (originally for 2 lads and now shared between 6 people as another generation of Blues have grown up) going back decades. Not all non-Mancunian/non-British people are tourists.

A proper City fan can come from Baguley, Ballyfermot, Boston or Banckock… but you can tell the difference between them and people who do not give a single fuck about City in the stands and, even worse, fans of the opposition.

The Liverpool fan in 115 who got battered.

To get into 115 you have to show your match ticket to the stewards at the entrance.

So I take when the stewards dragged him out, and saved him from a good hiding, they will have taken his phone, looked at his digital ticket, noted it, and asked him where he bought the ticket from.

Filled in, in 115

How ironic for the candle lighting ****

Exactly my point. They are laughing at us. Only time anything changed recently was the super league. All the fans of all clubs came together and it stopped.

These clubs know football is too partisan for that to happen with something like football ticket pricing. Instead you will get idiots on twitter laughing at empty seats rather than be annoyed at the ludicrous pricing.

The way spurs, Brighton, United have quietly got rid of concession prices is disgusting also. The 20 clubs are colluding and the fans need to come together otherwise it will just get worse. They are taking the piss out of us all

Hello, ticket compliance manager!!
The ticket compliance manager is employed it seems to make it incredibly difficult for blues to move spares between themselves.
He has no interest in preventing the dilution of our core atmosphere, or stopping non City fans getting tickets in our end. A full price sold seat is what compliance means to City. The identity of the purchaser is irrelevant.
A transfer of a ticket to a mate for free or below the matchday price, is illegal, to be crushed ruthlessly.

The Lpool and City fans held it up between themselves. Stewards came over at first and the fans kept it held up. Then the Police came and made them take it down.

Both sets of fans gave each other the thumbs up and that sort of arms outstretched with a shrug of the shoulders as if to say, ‘what can we do?!’.
