Away fans / tourists in home sections

It's further evidence of how things are changing at the Club. Treating supporters like shit is now the norm.

So keep your noses clean boys and girls, otherwise the full force of our Club will be vested upon you, in spades.

Such is life.

It's so depressing and sad to hear of long time supporters, like yourself being treated so shit by our club. I say 'our' club, but the reality is, it no longer is.

I'm sorry to read that Dodge.

I hope you come through this shit show.

But I'm not in the least surprised.

The Government to an extent, the Police, the PL, and the clubs are clamping down on football fans like never before. There's a crusade going on at every level to try and rid football of fans who misbehave, regardless of what they've done. And it's now guilty until you prove yourself innocence. Everyone is getting banned, being taken to court, with the police and the clubs doing everything they can to make sure fans are held to account for their actions, regardless if they are guilty or innocent.

As for the OSC's. They are an extension of the club. They are controlled by the club, even though they try and make out they are independent of the club. If you form an OSC or become a member of an OSC, you have to follow the clubs rules and regulations, hence why Dodge was banned by his OSC, just like the club banned him.
Cheers mate.

We've got the pissed up dickhead Engerland fans to thank for where we are now...Euro Final at Wembley was a watershed. No matter how petty the offence, FBO's are being handed down to anyone convicted of a football related offence.

The low life knobhead who mocked the death of young Bradley, the Sunderland kid, was banned for 5 years. A young West Ham fan was given a similar ban for chucking a Haribo at a Gooner.

My incident, basically pushing away a steward, could result in an FBO. Passport surrender, report to a cop shop on match day, exclusion zone around ANY football stadia that has a match on. All options are open to the Court, as instructed by the Government after the Euro's. In addition to any punishment for the offence if proven guilty. If you push a security guard at Asda, and ended up I'm Court, would they take your passport away? Nah, just footy fans.

I'm saying all this, not for sympathy or to blow smoke up my arse. I shouldn't have raised my hands, should've took it on the chin and walked away, totally my fault.

But, the way things are at City now, more and more regular citizens are going to get lifted and be in my situation. So, if a tourist cheers a Plymouth goal tomorrow, let them do it.

Don't give the GMP or MCFC the opportunity to ban you and take your SC away.

It ain't worth it.

Cheers mate.

Sorry to hear about these developments mate. It’s poor treatment and the Club isn’t looking after our interests.

I hope all this gets resolved in your favour fella.
Best of luck.

Why did you push the steward? Can you say, did he / she / they touch you first?

This is why I couldn’t give a fuck if we are thrown into division 1 we will have our club back
Said this all along. Whilst I loved Istanbul it was only for the long standing blues that had endured so much over the bad years.....too many tourists even there that night.
I started going in the mid 80's and there was something inherently special about City. Remember sitting on the terrace at the old Victoria ground singing Ball out with all the Stokies. Still laugh about that now.
Look back to 2000 and Ewood park, proper support which made me proud to be a blue, we were shit, but you looked around you and there were like minded people that were of the same mindset.......mates together even though we didn't know each other.
Whilst I'm all for change and progression the current match day experience in the PL is dire.
Off to Forest next weekend on the rattler with my lad and our mates... sadly it may be one of our last.

Cheers mate.

If you are accused of pushing a steward they may charge you with common assault

I know from experience as the same happened to me over 13 years ago at Arsenal

If so and you plead not guilty at the magistrates it could then be sent to crown court but mine was years ago and that may have changed. It was why i pled guilty to get it out of the way. I did not receive a banning order either back then but had a criminal record

Good luck with your case. Annoying that it gets this far. But as you say football fans are regarded as low life.

Public order threatening behaviour, that's the future mate. Common assault is so last year ;)

There’s a story on the BBC Football website.
This guy heard Chelsea fans shouting and responded “Chelsea rent boys” and gave a few gestures.

He was charged with a Section 5 Public Order offence. The case ended up in court, where he pleaded guilty, and he was banned from attending football matches in the UK for three years.

I’ve heard worse outside my daughters high school

I've dealt with the main OSC a small amount as a member of my local branch here in the States and I can say that they can be pretty heavy-handed with things.

Personally it seems much fairer to me to wait for an actual court disposition

@jrb

You asked me to keep you informed of my impending doom..

After waiting to hear from Met Police for 5 weeks, emailing them twice to check the status, I suddenly got a summons this week to attend Uxbridge Magistrates Court next Friday, which gives me no time to put my defence together so my brief is applying for an adjournment.

Bizarrely, in the same document bundle is a demand from the Met to report to Hounslow PS on 17th March to have DNA & fingerprints taken, 10 days AFTER the Court case. Hmmm..

Also, via my OSC branch, had a lovely letter from Howard Burr, banning me from the branch I've been a member of for 20 plus years (back to the Leicester & Rugby days) and re-iterating that I stay the fuck away from the Campus and never darken 116 ever again.

Whilst reiterating that "this is not an assumption of guilt".

Happy days.

Up the fucking Blues.
Wow
