Away fans / tourists in home sections

The Club take the minutes, and we can then propose amends. I often have a lot of suggestions, not all of them are accepted by the Club. I accept that it’s not the best way to produce them.

The Club state that they do not want to share his surname so that he can undertake his investigations with anonymity.
I thought minutes of a meeting were meant to be an accurate record of what was said. Are you suggesting that amends need to be made as the minute taking isn't accurate?

As with anything like this, there will always be some elements of confidential information that can’t be shared, so minutes for something like a Fan Advisory Board will never be a complete representation of the meeting.

That said, there are certain points and information that often are not included in a first draft that the Club provide - which I try to get included (some more successfully than others). On a similar point, I have advocated that the minutes are more personalised and reflect individual contributions but the Club haven’t adopted that to date.

City blaming the fans rather than looking in-house. How many city fans have large numbers of Madrid fans that they know? How many city fans who sit together all decide not to go to allow large numbers of away fans to sit together.

It's telling that when the men approach city they decline to comment. Seems to me city are making the fans scapegoats to cover what they are upto.

There's always the chance the odd fan might sell to an away fan but can't accept it happens in the numbers they are suggesting

Some of the people the MUnitedEN are calling fans will be touts with City Supporters Numbers. I can understand the Club not commenting to an enemy publication. City’s job is to get a grop
Of the authorised-sellers and phase out their tickets (as contracts end or can be negotiated ou).

To be fair 165 is a tiny fraction of our fanbase. We have 140,000 members. It seems likely that some fans have been making a quick buck….but so has the club.

Nothing about away ticket sales. Staggering that nearly 3k SC holders don't transfer to family and friends or list on the exchange. I wonder if the club contacts these people and asks the reasons why the ticket wasn't used. Obviously it could be something as awful as a death in the family or even the death of the SC holder so the club will have to tread carefully but surely some research should be undertaken as to why on average this many people don't attend or let someone else use the ticket. That's basic stuff to undertake if the club really wanted to. I wonder if there is an option whereby three hours before ko, local families can be contacted and told that there are free tickets available for a game. SC holders who don't want the hassle of listing the tickets or have anyone to transfer can tick an option online so the club know that these tickets can be released to locals FOC
Because transferring is a royal pain the arse, especially for those without the technical savvy.

Let’s take the Real Madrid game for example.

The police/club have cctv on all blocks all over the ground as we’ve seen with the Liverpool incidents.

The amount of Madrid fans in the home sections sold via these sites was a joke.
Every single one of these 8 official ticket partners sold tickets to Madrid fans without a doubt.

Now by the clubs t&c’s, all is needed is to prove one ticket was sold to non-city fans which would be easy - so why have the club not done this and terminated the contracts with not one of these 3rd party sites?

All these Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Madrid, Liverpool, Feyernoord fans in the home end and not one of these 3rd party 8 contracts have been suspended or cancelled.

But they have no problem suspending or cancelling seasoncards within hours

It’s because City are money grabbing cowards

Exactly pal. We'll ignore this and go after the low hanging fruit of the face value ticket sites instead. They hold the seasoncard holders in contempt as they feel they're costing the club money and they could squeeze an extra £30-40+ per game from their seat instead.

We'll endanger the safety of our own fans by letting groups of the opposition supporters in our home end in our lust after money.

I said when I saw that email, that they’ll be one genuine City fan living down that end who’ll get caught up in this. Looks like it was you.

I’ve great sympathy but if you’ve bought tickets using a membership that has never bought a ticket before and you live in the area ( even 48 miles away ) I can see why the club has done it, after Plymouth fans were apparently all over the internet bragging that they’d got tickets in the City end.
Not much sympathy for Sam!!! :0(
