Away fans / tourists in home sections

Humphrey is a Norwich fan and yet somehow seems to have got 2 tickets in the Newcastle end for today. I'm sure plenty of Geordies will be pretty pissed off to see this as loads won't have been able to get tickets. Not just us then.

Not sure why this is relevant. The finalists get around 70-80% of the tickets with the rest going to Club Wembley and "the football family". It's only a problem if he got his ticket from NUFC ahead of a genuine barcode. And if it's Jake Humphrey the presenter, them I'm sure he'll have contacts at Wembley, the EFL or via the broadcasters.

The rag cunts have conducted an investigation into Rangers fans invasion of the sty. Looking from afar it reads as a croc of utter shite to me. Only including it here as an indication of the sort of covering up clubs will do.


"As a result of these investigations: 1,532 tickets were identified as having Rangers fans in the seats and the ticket holder for all seats were issued with a sanction.

"This is further broken down into; 567 official members, 105 club/competition contractual tickets, 367 hospitality tickets and 493 season tickets (of which 353 were forwarded to other people)."


There were only 1500 Rangers fans in the home end LOL!!! Rather conveniently the club tickets and hospitality tickets combined were less than those from both official members and season ticketholders. Does '493 season tickets (of which 353 were forwarded to other people)' mean they have 140 season ticketholders who are Rangers fans? Pravda would be proud. Anyway fuck them.

However, if we draw Celtic in Europe again expect similar levels of bullshit in the aftermath.

But proportionally aren't the club and hospitality tickets way higher which kind of confirms that these people take the piss more than SC holders?

Think it probably means 353 season ticket holders legitimately transferred them onto other United fans, who then sold them to Rangers fans.

So it’ll presumably be the middle guy who faces any sanctions, rather than the season ticket holder.

I got tickets to United/Rangers & City/Chelsea both from a third party website I regularly use when back home in the UK, got to pay the big bucks when your not a regular/ex pat fan

Good point, I'd not thought of it that way.

The other thing is I understand they have a real issue with touting and would have cases like the Chelsea fan with 300 memberships. Yet it makes no mention of touting and reads as if it's mainly down to individual season ticket holders and members.

It's this sort of brain-dead attitude, where the person is so blinkered that they'll say shit like this without any evidence to support their position, that drives me up the wall.

The club has clearly done an in-depth investigation and been transparent about their findings. Yet you dismiss it as "utter shite". Get your head out of your arse lad.

Would you had been identified in the 1532?(LOL) And if so, how?

And in their breakdown, do you think the tickets you bought would had been categorised as from season ticketholders/members (i.e selling them on to the site) or hospitality?

An investigation that makes no mention of touts (a known issue at the sty) nor ticketing agencies where there were blocks of Rangers fans together.
