Away fans / tourists in home sections

Know it was an exceptional circumstance in terms of them winning the league title, but last thing I'd want to do is be sat in an away section as a home fan.

That's dippers for you though. Rather brazen.

It’s not ideal but the majority of Liverpool fans will have never seen them win the league in person, so I wouldn’t blame them for getting in wherever they could.

I, and plenty of others were in the Brighton end when we won the league. Which is pretty much the same thing.

I get that, but I think the size of the clubs is rather significant and the fact you're amongst their away supporters who could be deemed more 'hardcore'. I don't think it would have been particularly amicable if it occurred with us for instance instead of Spurs.

Didn’t see too many daytrippers there last night against Wolves, felt the same against Palace a few weeks ago.

Much more enjoyable feeling mostly having proper Blues around you!

I felt like I’d lost my love of going to games after those Liverpool and Madrid home games. They were fucking horrible. Neutrals and daytrippers (who are just annoying wankers), Madrid fans being cunts, Salah fans and Liverpool fans all openly cheering Liverpool’s goals, plus after the final whistle all taking photos and videos of the Lpool players and Lpool away end nearly saw me react with violence (to the point the fella who sits behind me had to tell me to leave otherwise I’d get banned… thankfully I listened to him).

Shouldn't be the case that games against bottom half teams are a better experience than the biggest games of the season.

Plenty there but seems it's the ones who've developed a love for City maybe and not just interested in Title races

"You sure?" and pulls this lads sweatshirt down from his neck to reveal a rag replica shirt. More slaps. The bouncers come down again and save this lad from a proper good hiding.
The bouncers then return. "Are there anymore United fans in here? This is your chance to leave with us now because we aren't coming down again". Two relieved rags shuffled quickly across the room to rounds of laughter and jeers.

To this day I still can't fathom out why the first rag thought it would be all peace, love and understanding when he decided to reveal his colours during that song - or why they were there to begin with!

off course there are day trippers, that is for almost every premier league team. And every big team in the top leagues.
Like myself from Belgium with a 19y old son that watches all city's matches on the pc the last years and that wants to come and see a match of city on the 20th may; there is no really easy way to get tickets.
I hope to find two tickets on the forum, but if you have no other option; tourists go to other sites, where other people make a lot of money.... but making a trip that costs me already a lot, with also the stadium tour, the shop, and so on...what would you do yourself.
We will be there from Saturday to also watch the cup final somewhere in Manchester for the atmosphere...so I guess we count a bit as 'fans' and not just tourist to catch any match nearby.

btw: and we don't have tickets for the moment, hoping to find them in the other thread.

PS I never have been to another team abroad before...had my 15 years of season tickets at Brugge and then just an occasional match the last 7 years. I even don't bother to go to other teams here in Belgium.
