Away Game Beer Stops

Didsbury ? Know a few of them. Should be looking for a cocktail bar with finger buffet. Specially a bald bugger with glasses.

How very dare you! Just because a man comes from Didsbury, shaves his head to hide a receding hairline and wears spectacles because of a visual impairment doesn't mean he is posh. When I find out who you are I shall get my man to come round and hit you a thump!

West Brom has the best away pub in the country, The Vine

Agreed , But The Vine stopped letting away fans in last year [or one before ] after candlepool fans kicked off.
For WBA or Villa call in The Tennis Court , Nice and big with good beer & grub.

Sorry........Just google for adress !

We were in the Vine last year and the year before, quite a lot of blues were too.

Same here - i had a lovely vindaloo.....so no problem with city fans being let in!

E-mailed the Vine yesterday and they are certainly not taking coaches this season. Don't know about individuals though

I appreciate that it's going past junction 1 of M5 (WBA ground junction and route to Villa), but 10 mins past the junction to junction 3 and 5 mins along to Halesowen is our regular drinking hole The Rose & Crown in High Street. Really sound boozer with food, footie and welcomes City fans. We'll take 40-50 each time and on arrangement have had full breakkies waiting for an early arrival before the session!! There's a short cut from it to get to WBA and 10 mins more to Villa, always works well for us. We've got fed up of the shite Villa away pub paying to get in and not get served and WBA has always been a mixed bag. Big car park would take your coach.

The Leicester branch organised a pub when we played the Foxes in the League cup - hundreds catered for!
Will find out the name of it, was in the Aylestone area I think

Yes, we went there also, had some bloke singing Oasis songs and a BBQ.

Was a good night, the pub was difficult to find as in some estate, a very nice one mind compared to ours down here. It was not like going to a boozer in Langley

I remember one for the 2011 FA Cup game, was it the same one? Can't remember the name though.
