Cracking atmosphere tonight from us, bit OTT from the Everton Stewards kicking people out for beer showers but tbf some went over the top!
(spraying the stewards is never a good idea lol)

I just don’t get the need to throw beer over everyone , it costs enough as it is so just drink the bloody stuff.

Had to watch on a stream but that was the best we’ve sounded away in a long time from a TV perspective (I know how that sounds).

If it’s true the same old faces weren’t there and some younger fans got tickets, that can only be a good thing.

The younger crowd were in the front rows of the lower tier. The rest of the blocks were the usual middle to older age. A good mix of ages overall like it should be.

I’m not sure what it was like upstairs.

Was class last night, having younger lads there definitely makes a difference. I'd say the best away of the season (I've only missed Shaktar away so cant comment on that one)

Hopefully, there will be a few more general sale Aways this season to improve the atmosphere

I make it 9’games this season. It’s good that people can get to aways who don’t think they have a divine right to be there.
Agree. Not sure anybody thinks that they have a divine right, apart from maybe a few superfan loons obviously :).

My point was that the atmosphere was dictated by circumstance, not just the mix of people there.

I think both are a factor tbh

I agree mate. I guess the exceltions seem to be games like Burnley and Huddersfield where
Most of our following watch without getting behind the team. Each to their own but it doesn’t help.

Not going to go down well this but....

Supporters Clubs made their order for Everton away couple of weeks ago.
Date got changed and there were loads cancelled and was it hard to distribute the excess. Corporate tickets similar.
Hence a much higher allocation for points holders>>>>>> better atmosphere
