First game against the Spuds. Why are some posters so gloomy about this fixture? It would be good first game to get revenge, get it out the way and a good test for us to see how good the team is for the rest of the season.
Take the positives, be positive and support the team. Don't get bogged down on the opening fixtures. Away games to tough opposition is a good test for the team. It will allow us to see the performers and the wilting daisies in the team.
Anyone knows how these fixtures are scheduled? is it by a machine done randomly or by someone(s) with a pen and paper deciding who plays who?

A good time to stop them gloating straight off. Every first game would have been tough, might as well get the difficult bannana skin out of the way first off. Easy to catch teams on the hop first day. Glad to get rid of that fixture than have it in the run in to the end of the season.
