yeh i always hated science mate, fair enough with maths and english being compulsory but some of the shite i got taught in science was terrible. its a fucked up subject.
Tis, I have to triple science, it's awful.
I'm never gonna' need to know how calcium carbonate reacts with Sodium hydroxide or whatever.
CaCO3 (s) + 2NaOH (aq) = CaOH2 + Na2CO3
Know that one off the top of my head. AS chemistry after all.

Aye but if you had 2 moles of CaCO3 and 0.5 Moles of NaOH, how many moles of CaOH2 and Na2CO3 would you get?

whats the answer?

The question is extremely ambiguous. I'd answer it based on the basic unpredictability of earthquakes and the methods used for their prediction. Essentially there isn't a fool proof method of earthquake prediction, you can target areas where earthquakes are likely to happen at some point, and you can extrapolate a potential timescale based on the frequency of past earthquakes, but accurate prediction and therefore warning simply isn't possible.

No doubt the question, being science, wanted something related to geology though, something related to bedrock material and the proximity of the epicentre to Kent.

I remember in my Food Technology exam for GCSE, I was asked name three ways how to stop milk going sour. Being a cheeky 16 year old with no interest in Food (well making it atleast) I recall telling them to keep it in the cow. No wonder I nearly failed.

lmao. his answer makes no sense. made me chuckle that. not that i know the answer
