As much as I was fucked when he changed his mind, if he has explained his decision making to Pep and expressed a desire to come I would expect the club would be delighted to try and re-sign him. Fred and Laporte would be amazing business. Once Mangala and Yaya go we would have probably one of the most complete squads ever seen (Kompany as 4th choice!!!) And would allow us to focus on a marquee attacker in the Summer like Dybala.

Good thing is Fred can play LB if need be so once Mendys back and if we keep Delph on we will have a young very versatile defensive collection with Laporte, Stones and potential returns of Maffeo and Angelino along with older heads like the Otter and Walker.

Another forward who can play all across the front and we will have a squad for the next couple of seasons to compete with the best

Yeah, it seems difficult to find out who the real agents are... I've just found this, from June, 2016:
