B of the bang

Sure there used to be a thread about it, but I can't seem to find it, apologies mods, merge if necessary.
Anyone know what happened to it after it was dismantled?
I believe it was put into storage somewhere as it was deemed dangerous.
I miss it, I thought it was a great piece of modern sculpture, and part of our history, not in a football way, but I kind of looked at it as a symbol related to our move to eastlands.
I'd love to see it again, even in bits.
Anyone know what happened to it?

It was actually given to Steve McMananan as the most pointless pointer award.

It's interesting to see the developments that have happened since these early photos were taken. It's almost barren in the background, compared to what we have today.
As the years fly by and we forget our past, it's important to document our history, however recent.
That's a great image.

It was shit. It highlighted how easy it is to con money out of the National Lottery.
As soon as it was installed it started falling to bits.

Didn't it usually have fencing around it because the spikes kept falling off?

Was a load of shite in my opinion and I much prefer our new sculptures outside the ground.
