Funny how some people are scared of flying when the people in charge of the planes are highly educated and qualified people who are tested to the max regularly but will think nothing of getting in a taxi with a driver who sometimes look like they haven’t had a wash in a week let alone had an education or been regularly tested.

Calling @Millwallawayveteran1988 calling @Millwallawayveteran1988 please make your way to the highly educated and qualified disorientated pilot thread please:

Ha ha Fair play!

When we were young, We were wondering how the pilot follow the exact route to their destinations. Now this question is valid, at least for British Airways

A plane destined for Germany landed in Edinburgh when the pilot got 'lost'. Passengers were stunned when they touched down in the Scottish capital just over an hour after taking off from London City Airport.
The bizarre journey started when the flight took off at 7.47 this morning bound for Düsseldorf. However, the pilot and crew of the WDL Aviation flight, operating on behalf of British Airways, were given an incorrect flight path, Edinburgh Live reports.
After heading north, it landed in Edinburgh at 9am. Frequent flyer Son Tran tweeted BA asking: "Can you please explain how can my morning flight taking off from LCY to Düsseldorf land in Edinburgh? "While an interesting concept, I don't think anyone on board has signed up for this mystery travel lottery. "
Mr Tran then followed up adding: "This feels like an honest mistake rather than a diversion."
The plane then set off from Edinburgh at 10.30am on its second attempt to reach Düsseldorf. British Airways said: "We are working with WDL Aviation, who operated this flight on behalf of British Airways, to establish why the incorrect flight plan was filed. "We have apologised to customers for this interruption to their journey and will be contacting them all individually."

Boarded a Ryanair flight from Barcelona last year. Once all were on board and seated the head steward amusingly came on the microphone and welcomed everyone on board this flight to Mexico City! Fair to say his ruse was effective and there was much alarm and angst. He only let the panic rise for a few seconds before admitting his wind up....very good and very funny actually.
