for many years I have been looking out the back door
and what do I see , the back yard all in the back, the past
now I look out the front door and what do I see, the front yard and all in front
and still I know nothing but hope!!

windows can be seen through or put through.

The eyes are the windows to the soul. The doors are the way in and out of the body.
