Everything he said is true, he's not trying to get one over on us, or get a dig in on us (if he was he'd be a lot more ruthless than what he's said there) he's just saying that Liverpool and Chelsea will be their main title rivals, and they will be! But as you say, he wont be saying that in a couple of years!

He said his main competitors for the title next will be Liverpool and Chelsea. I don't think many could disagree with that, we have no idea what City will do. Only the reporters have labelled that as Ferguson "dismissing" City. That's not what he said; he's obviously been asked 'are City a title rival' and said 'I think Chelsea and Liverpool are the ones we have to worry about.'
