Baconface shocked!

One of the most satisfying things about the transfer is seeing baconface realise that City really are comin to get him.

United chief admits surprise over market moves

Sir Alex Ferguson has conceded Manchester City's sensational move for Kaka has left him shocked and surprised.

It seems as though the ball is now in Kaka's court with regards a move to Manchester, as AC Milan appear to have been tempted into accepting an offer that is likely to exceed £100million.

Should the transfer go through it will easily eclipse the current transfer record, more than doubling the money Real Madrid paid Juventus for Zinedine Zidane in 2001.

Ferguson is no stranger to shelling out huge sums of his own, having twice broken the British record in bringing Juan Sebastian Veron and Rio Ferdinand to Old Trafford.

However, his Manchester neighbours have caused a ripple across the city as Ferguson accepts the numbers involved in Kaka's possible transfer are astronomical.

"I find it hard to get my head round to be honest," he said. "It is amazing.

United midfielder Michael Carrick, who left Tottenham for a not inconsiderable

£18.6million in 2006, has no view on whether lavishing such sums is morally dubious.

"That amount of money being bandied about is a bit of a shock really," he conceded.

"When Manchester City were taken over we were told they had a lot of money to spend and big names were being talked about.

"But for it to be so much over the top is pretty mad really."

Cos he has a face that looks like bacon due to the amount of whisky the scotch twat consumes on a daily basis, which will no doubt go up once we are ripping the piss out of them at the top of the league. Hopefully he might end up like Best!
