Yep....not much chance of him changing anything.

If he does lose his job we'll all know why....and it won't be because someone said it on a messageboard...

Because the previous manager wasnt interested in spending any of his hundreds of millions on a mobile, attack minded, creative central midfielder?

I think if that's the case there's no danger of Mancini losing his job because surely our owners aren't so stupid, blinkered, blind, ignorant, and short sighted, that they'd sack a manager because of the PREVIOUS manager's failings...????

Nah, didn't think so....if Mancini is dispensed with, he'll only have himself to blame...

They might have someone already lined up, can't see what Mancini could have done if that was the case.

If he's at risk of losing his job based on performances and result so far I'd say the clubs expectations are wildly unrealistic. After keeping the former manager on after the disaster of last season I doubt that is the case.

This season was always going to be an extended job interview for Mancini. I don't for one moment believe that we already have someone who has agreed to take over in the summer.

After yesterday's loss he has accumulated 4 more points than Hughes having had the same amount games this season. I'm not sure that that's enough of an improvement in the owners eyes to warrant keeping him. Especially, if other, better, managers are available in the summer...

I don't know, 66 points from 34 would look a whole lot better than 58 that we were on track for. I don't think we were going that bad before results wise and I was surprised when the change was made.

But that judgement was not made on 17 matches, it was made on 77.

I'd guess (and it is just a guess) the owners will give Mancini a similar courtesy.

the guy is ok, he just seems to be shit scared of going for it, we have the players to beat anyone but we have to play to our strengths and we certainly did'nt do that yesterday.
we can't really lose can we, if we get jose in fantastic, if bob gets his own players in, fantastic.
4th or 5th we will be proper up for it next season.
i can't wait already.

To be honest I hope they do. I can't help but feel though, that if someone right out of the top drawer (someone who's won more, is more experienced, maybe even someone who's won the premiership before) becomes available, they will see sacking Mancini as a necessary evil. And lets face it, if there is a six month break clause in his contract, then this very scenario has been planned for...

not true but i admire your blind optimism.
we have not yet got the squad to challenge the top clubs, the mind set is'nt there, either by the manager or the players.uniteds second team never looked in danger yesterday.
