Don't know why you would bother in the first place trying to overcome a fear of monkeys. It ain't going to hinder you in your daily life too much, not like a fear of spiders could, possibly. And as it turns out she should have left welll alone but in a funny way must have been a very affirming experience, she was right to be afraid.

she wouldnt have got off the boat if she had been warned about the monkeys?? She wasnt doing very well in overcoming her phobia then was she? :)
