Talking of David Rocastle - does anybody know where I can find youtube or video footage of the amazing touchline turn he did when playing for City. He sort of rolled the ball under his foot and turned?

That was the home game v Ipswich at Maine Road, Carl Griffiths scored from the cross. Frannie Lee's 1st game in charge as Chairman, Flicroft scored the winner.

The original game was called off, this was the replay.

I have it on DVD, i'll try and dig it out....

Yes, the 21 year old Brazlian international with more champions league experiance then the rest of our strikers combined, who was roundly made a scapegoat after starting just 13 games.

So a manager who has been in the Premiership for the most of his career needs time but young players coming into the league dont get any time.

In the 13 prem games Jo played we won 7 drew 3 lost 3. Two of the three losses were Chelsea and Liverpool, hardly his fault. Further in those 13 games we scored 27 goals, including 13 in 7 away games. Why is this, is it because Jo was rubbish? I think not.

People go on about "Berbaflop", truth is the difference in the Derby was that they has a good target man to win and hold the ball up before laying it off. Both their goals, Ronaldo hitting the post, all came from his play. He doesnt score many, or grab headlines, but he lets the others play.

In Jo's 13 games, 11 different players scored goals.. why? Because he did the simple things, he got the ball, held it up when needed, and linked up play. Shame most of the cretins who support city, and the cretins who manage the club cant see this.

Because Jo wasn't fucking going to score very many.

But seriously, did you watch him play? He is not built for the Premier League, and I mean mentally more than physically. He doesn't want to mix it with centre halves, he doesn't want to go in for challenges. He has got some skill but England is not the place for him, any more than it was for Samaras. I wouldn't write him off completely - players can change their attitude and can improve - but based on his time here so far he just hasn't shown that he can do well over here.

well said... all for giving him another chance next season,everton about best place for him to understand he needs a kick up the arse! this is an unforgiving league and lets be honest some games he was jogging round like a drunk chasing the last bus, afraid of dropping his kebab.... could well be a great talent but if the desire aint there to get stuck in then sorry jo theres the door, dont let it hit your arse on the way out....
