i'm sure this is the guy who got on the train last week from milton keynes for the fulham game
he sat behind us

We call him City man and there has been various stories as to who he really is and where he actually lives but you can guarantee if you are travelling from the South to watch City you will always see him at some stage – I have no idea why he does but I think he travels to Milton Keynes to travel to Manchester – We saw him around 9pm heading down the steps at MK station so he was going somewhere

I was on the same train as him to Leicester from Birmingham New Street for the Cup match. He was with a younger bloke and a young lad. Not sure if they're his son and grandson?

is he the same guy that used to go around the beehive at maine road???

Yep thats him, he is in Mary D's every week you cannot miss him, red face and hundreds of City pin badges on his City scarf

I know who you mean. He's usually in the Pub with his Brother who is one of the most bitter Blues you'll ever meet. In a good way.

his brother being my uncle tommy. you're right. he's proper bitter. he's refused to watch soccer am for about 10 years because helen chamberlain asked him during a radio phone-in why he supported city. a right pair these two are when on the lash together. do you speak to them often peoffrey?

loads of different team badges on there as well. he'll let anybody put any teams badge on his scarf. there's only one club he won't allow on there......

he takes a great pride in rescuing me and his son from potential ragness and calls my red older brother "the one that got away".

cheers for giving him a lift when you did. how did you know him?

I didnt know him Kev, I used to live in Eccles about 15 years ago and when I went to Maine Road I used to drive over the old Barton Swing bridge and would often see him sat at the bus stop pissed wet through with his "famous City badge scarf" I just used to think you cant leave a blue sat there when your going to Maine Road anyway. He was always well chuffed and I used to go in the Beehive anyway so it was ideal for Mike.

Its the kind of thing that Blues do mate :)

The two of them used to go in The Crossroads / The Manchester when we moved to The COMS and I had to speak to Badger once I saw him in his scarf. I say hello to the two of them whenever I see them in the Pub. It's quite often.
