They are. Stones has done jack shit to date other than look clever on the ball. He's been at fault for a bunch of goals and what's worrying is he's still making the same mistake he's been making since last year at Everton, just dropping off and dropping off and...well you get the idea. Every attacker knows if you run at him he won't stand up to them. He needs to fix this pronto or will end up being no better than he is right now, which isn't very good.

Dumb question but is Badstuber an improvement? I haven't seen him play a ton and he has had injury issues. But let's say he's fit, would he be a good addition to the squad?

If he signs & is fit for us he will improve us defensively. Pep has worked with him before, at Bayern, so that will help with a settling in period.

I saw him play against Rostov in the champions league the other month, so I am guessing he hasn't got injured since then

Would make sense if we are looking at a 6 month loan
A good quality player who has had problems, but in the end it makes no difference to us if he pulls up in a few months anyway..
