Bale and £70m for Sterling - SSN

Aguero and Silva can't be compared to Sterling, they came from La Liga, instantly became stars and became the face of city's project. City had no reason to let them go.

Sterling is a different case, since not many English players had the chance to play for Barca or Real, it would obviously be a big deal for him, it's not about money or facilities either, both can be matched.

Playing for Real Madrid or Barca for South American spanish speaking player wo's son lived at Madrid for much of period he is at City and guy born at Las Palmas is as big deal as for some Englishman. He is the face of current City project and City has no reason to let him go too.

I do hope he stays i just don't think he would and I don't think he is the face of current City project by any means, Pep is that face right now and will be for as long as he stays

If Aguero and Silva (surely Kompany and Yaya too) were all faces of City project, then it's bit strange it's only Pep who is the face of this one.

Sterling is currently the most profilic and marketable City player.

Bale and Sterling are quite similar, right? I'd favour tried and tested over a superstar that could unsettle our balance, unless Bale isn't bad at centreback.
