Bale to consider future

Well, Lewi definitely had things in his own hands but if he continues to treat players like he did with Modric last summer and eventually Bale this summer, he won't have much love from players that would eventually sign for you in the future.

It's pretty much usual nowadays that club let player go when he wants it and if he continues to make them problems either by not allowing them to go or putting some ridiculous price tags on them, it could bite him back in the future.

And tbh, I doubt you certainly know if there was a transfer request or not, it supposed to happen yesterday so unless you are very connected to the club you'd have hard time to prove me opposite :)

btw, I'm not talking this because of potential Bale's transfer to City, I would never pay money Lewi would ask for him. I don't like ridiculous transfer fees.

Bale is on 30k a week no wonder he's put in a transfer request..Spurs will give him an improved contract I reckon that's what he angling for with this rumour of unrest

Redknapp dismisses Bale to Barcelona reports

Harry Redknapp has dismissed a report claiming Tottenham have agreed a fee with Barcelona for the sale of star winger Gareth Bale.

Spanish newspaper Marca this morning suggested Spurs had sanctioned Bale's departure to the current European champions for a fee of £40million.

Bale admitted last month he would not be able to turn down a move to the Catalan giants, and Barca defender Dani Alves said in a recent interview that the Welshman would fit in well at the Nou Camp.

Redknapp, however, insists the 22-year-old is not leaving White Hart Lane this summer.

The Spurs boss told a press conference: "I don't know anything about [the story linking Bale with Barcelona].

"I wouldn't think there is the slightest bit of truth in that. Not a chance, I wouldn't have thought."

Well given harry redknapps impeccable record of telling the truth I think we can safely assume that bale is on his way out.

Bale's pace would add an extra dimension to our attack.

Can see this being a good move but want Hazard more. If we can get both, great.

At only 22 he has years ahead of him which sits well with Mancini's transfer policy.
