don't want bale, i would rather get a slightly cheaper player from abroad who is more exciting and is more versatile.

i dont rate bale as much as many, i think he is very limited. look at when he started playing on the right and in the middle, he couldn't cut it.
The issue Bale has had is that he is swamped with 2 or 3 players each time he touches the ball and the pressure is on him every game to do something. At us he wont have that problem as we have many players that can get us a goal.

A midfield of

Bale - Silva - Nasri
- Barry - Yaya -

would work wonders
So, that's your 5, who to play of the 4 forwards; Aguero, Tevez, Dzeko or Mario?

Robin Van Persie ;).

Would love Bale, he's better than hazard for me. The only gripe I used to have with him was his consistency but he has seemed to improve on that last term. Do a deal involving adebayor and even AJ if need be, the thought of him putting those signature deadly low crosses in to our forwards is tantalising!

Sun, Mirror, Guardian, Independent saying Mancini is very interested in him but expects Spuds to take the piss over price. I don't see them letting him go for under £40 million and I don't see us paying that much for him. Maybe chuck in Adebayor as a sweetener?

Considering we have played most of our games with one up front how are you surprised at this?

------Aguero----Tevez-------
Bale--------Silva--------Nasri
-----------Yaya---------------
Clichy-Lescott-Kompany-Richards
------------Hart--------------

That better?

Me personally I'd have Aguero up top, and sell one of those 3. If we bring it RVP stick him up top with Aguero.

Yaya there by himself? Ain't ever happening.

Maybe against Reading at home ;).

Exactly, but when you put him and Barry in there you get criticized. Cant fucking win lol

At least thats one loan that went in our favour, if Spurs are as interested in keeping Ade as they seem to be, it could bode well for a move for Bale.

Non starter for me this Summer. Bale's contracted for 3 more years.

Spurs will value him higher than Modric, and they turned down over £30M for him last Summer.

Straight cash, Levy will want £40M+, and even then he could still refuse to do business.

Our best hope, unless we made a ridiculously high bid, (which I don't see happening) would be if they desperately wanted to sign Adebayor and maybe had their eye on one or two of our squad players as further make-weights.
