Thinking for future years of going to Bali. Anyone been? Any tips? Seems like you can get some really nice digs for £50 a night for 3 people but not sure how legit these places are on air BNB

Went there about 18 months ago. Liked it, but it’s a fucking nightmare to get about by road. Worse than London in that regard ffs.

It’s beautiful but don’t just stay in Kuta it’s like Magaluf for Aussies. Go to Ubud.

I went there on honeymoon in 2005. Lovely place, friendly and gentle people, great hotels. As said, it is Benidorm for Aussie bellends at night in parts of it.

There are lots of nice places to stay in Ubud on Booking.com at bargain prices. Many of the places are free cancellation which was handy for me as my flights to Bali in June were cancelled :).

One of the best holidays I've had! Beautiful island, lots to do and see, food was nice, people friendly and everything is super cheap.

I’d definitely recommend spending a few days at The Lagoona in Nusa Dua and then going on to Ubud to relax afterwards.
