Exactly if you want shit players playing for our team then fine but I think we deserve better players then Ball if a player does not perform at the level he is suppose to as a fan are we not entitled to blast the player/s that performances stand out to be the worst?

I dont think anybody is knocking him, he is average and steady, Jo is one for the future, but if we want to move up the grade and knock on the door of the top 4,then half the team out there today will be on the bench on Jan 31st?

The way I see it, Ball came on a free transfer and with Mpenza gave us a boost at just the right time to keep us up. Without those 2 signings, there is every chance that we would not be where we are now with the investment that we now enjoy. Sure he is perhaps the weakest player in the current lineup(and the LB is our weakest position), but he did the job that he was brought in to do and will be replaced soon. I for one will be very grateful for all that he has done for us when he does leave.

Ball's not the greatest but he's far from the worst either. His positioning when the opposition are attacking seems to leave a lot to be desired and he never seems to be able to put the attacking player under pressure.

However if you watch today's game, it's Zabaleta who could be faulted for the first and, together with Kompany, for the second.
